Facing Exceptional Threats

Published → 2 months ago3 min read

"The solution to a problem cannot be found at the same level of thinking that created it."

In line with Einsteins famous words and to answer the challenges ahead, we connected talented people with a high degree of integrity and engagement to create innovative, evidence-based solutions ’at another level of thinking’, in a process of co-creation. Meet our advisors. Each of them is the embodiment of ‘hope for the world’!

“"Facing exceptional threats, we must come up with exceptional ideas." Chadran Nair.”

The exceptional threats of this time are many! The effects of climate change, the augmenting number of global conflicts, trade and fiscal wars, the failure of systems and the lack of energy and meaning resulting in depression and burn-out drive us towards the search for new ways to empower individuals and communities.

We know the ingredients people need to be profoundly happy and healthy. Creating innovative solutions to bring those ingredients to them in an accessible way, without denying or escaping the confrontation with reality, is the challenge ‘Into Silence’ engages with.

Contributing to a broader international movement seeking new responses to the challenges of our time.

The growing focus on prevention, mental health, connectedness, nature, a sense of purpose and restorative environments points to a broader international movement seeking new responses to the challenges of our time.

Within this social evolution, there is a growing conviction that health cannot be approached solely through medical treatment, but is also linked to quality of life, social relationships, the environment, a sense of purpose, tranquillity, nature and human connection.

Against this backdrop, The Silencefarm aims to contribute to the development of a contemporary place of recovery and a practice-oriented learning environment where silence, connection with nature, encounter, reflection and social innovation come together.

In doing so, The Silencefarm seeks to create an open space where experiential knowledge, scientific insights, care, education, community building and social innovation can meet and reinforce one another.
